Customs House Museum
The museum is the second largest public interest museum in the state of Tennessee, with an area of 35,000 square feet. The building was built in 1898 for the Post Office and is also used for tobacco trade activities. Now its fine art features, its history, sculptures, children’s exhibits and most of its painted structures attract people.
Dunbar Cave State Park
Dunbar Cave State Park 110 (450000m2) Park in Clarksville, near Dunbar Cave. Dunbar Cave is the 280th largest cave in the world. The park has a large space for a variety of concerts and shows. Here you may find natural and archaeological significance that appears along with some ancient cave drawings. The most important thing that makes this cave so special is that it lies in the area of karst topography with sink holes. An artificial swan lake is also in front of the cave which adds to its natural beauty. From 2010 to 2015, the cave was closed because of a bat infected with White Beet’s syndrome.
Defiance Civil War Park & Interpretive Center
Defense Urban War Park is located 200 feet high at the confluence of Cumberland and the Red River. This place has been a focus of various activities over the past 200 years that make this site even more special. Not only can you visit here and learn about Defense Civil War, but you can also find out about the history of 200 years.
